It takes strength to examine and redefine your skills …and to share them with the civilian market.

Todd recently reached out to SSV for assistance transitioning into the civilian job market. His greatest challenge was ensuring that he had a relevant (military to civilian) resume and a LinkedIn account to get his name out into the workforce. Through Still Serving Veterans’ professional guidance, he was able to translate his resume/military career into civilian terms which would be more easily understood by civilian employers.

It was through the many SSV job leads and connections that he was able to find a job prior to starting transitional leave. A job that led him to his new career in safety. This job opportunity allows him to go back to school to gain further credentialing as a Certified Safety Professional.

“Anyone can be average; it’s those who are above average that will succeed! I appreciate the staff at Still Serving Veterans, and Call of Duty for their encouragement, guidance, and advice which has shown me that I have a lot of valuable skills and talents that major corporations are looking for.”
